Testimonials
"I met Larry the year after he graduated. My daughter was a Freshman and we were just beginning our time at College Station High School. From the moment I met him, I liked him! Larry leaves an impression on everyone he comes in contact with. He’s bright, cheerful, and friendly. Each year we became closer as our passion to start a Booster Club for the threatre department brought us to working closely together. I’ll be honest, the CSHS Booster Club would not have happened without his drive, consistency, and effort. He worked tirelessly, getting paid close to nothing, to make our dream a reality. Larry is not one to just sit back and let others do all the work. He is organized and doesn’t make excuses. He just rolls up his sleeves and makes it happen. He created a department newsletter and ran the website. When I asked for weekly communication, It was Larry that made that happen, not the director. Larry ran the budget, organized the concession sales, ran the marketing and produced the show shirts. He also organized and executed the annual Dinner Theatre and Silent Auction as well as our One Act Retreat. Of course, he didn’t do all this alone, but he led the way. We both knew that without him and our Booster Club, much of this would have never happened. He will make an incredible director one day and I can’t wait to see what how far his education takes him!"

"Larry was the most committed employee for the theater department in his time here at CSHS. He was always positive, knowledgeable, and a delight to so many on campus. His commitment to theater shined through in the performances of students and growth in the program."

"Despite me joining College Station High School’s theatre the last year Larry would be there, he left me with a great impression. I felt a little skeptical at first, because he is intimidating but as I realized how much he did, I felt grateful. He works extremely hard, and his priority is to make everything run efficiently and effectively. (Not to mention perfectly) Larry would do a lot for the department and he even had the opportunity to direct a show! He would go on runs to buy concessions, be present at the Booster Parent meetings, and pretty much understood every side of technical theatre. Although he can be intense, he has an amazing heart for people and never failed to make me smile."

"I had the pleasure of working with Larry on a professional level during his time at College Station High School. I remember the first time I met Larry and couldn’t help but to notice the passion he had for the CSHS Theatre Department. While I thought the excitement might be due to it being the first project we were working on together he quickly proved me wrong! It wasn’t just excitement for a new project; it was a true passion that showed through from the largest of task all the way down to the smallest detail on t-shirt that most people would never notice. His “Do what it takes” attitude is not something that we see much of in today’s young adults. You can train people all day long on how to do a job but you can’t teach someone to love what they do. Larry’s creative thinking, drive & dedication are what will make him successful in whatever he does in life. His heart is what will touch everyone he meets and help make his teammates, coworkers and friends strive for greatness to find their own passion in life like Larry does. Live Life Like Larry!"

"Larry has a passion for the theater which was evident when I had a chance to work closely with him over the course of two years when he worked at College Station High School as an assistant to the directors. I had a son involved with the program and helped as a parent volunteer during productions. Larry was instrumental in helping to start a booster club for the theater and to obtain nonprofit status for us. He was creative with fundraising ideas and worked well with the parents, students and teachers alike. He spent countless hours doing what he could to make the program succeed. Last year, I had the privilege of seeing the musical he directed. He did an amazing job working with a large group of high school students. He went way beyond expectations of a young man just starting in the field and I know that he will work hard to develop wonderful theater programs in the future."

"I've had the pleasure of working with Larry Robinson for the past couple years after he chose Ludus for online ticket sales. Some people like to write into customer support with demanding messages, but not Larry. Kind and patient are just two of the many positive words you could use to describe him. One time he even wrote back saying "Thank you" because he forgot to say it in his initial message! He's hands down one of our favorite customers we get to work with and look forward to continuing to do so. Any student, school, and theatre department would be lucky to have him."

"Larry worked very hard during his time with the CSHS Theatre Department. He played an important role communicating between the CSHS Theatre Booster Club and the theatre department teachers, developed and organized an annual theatre retreat, and directed a musical production that had great attendance. As a member of the CSHS Theatre Booster Board, I interacted with him on organizing events to support the department. He showed much passion for the theatre department, working long hours and juggling many responsibilities."

"I cannot say enough positive words to describe Mr. Larry Robinson. Our daughter was a Freshman last year and we had the honor to work and see the hard work and dedication Mr. Robinson preformed. The love he has for theatre, he will be an outstanding teacher. He worked great with the kids and put in so many hours of work and time that he wasn't recognized for. Anyone will be blessed to have a wonderful, talented, loyal and loving person as Mr. Larry Robinson on their team."

"Larry has always been a good colleague in our department. He finds ways to improve procedures and creates efficient systems so our department runs smoothly. When working with students, he has incredibly high standards for them, and makes every effort to help them achieve those standards. His communications with our Booster club and community members have always been the best reflection of professionalism and maturity. We are very grateful for the lasting impact that Larry has had on College Station Theatre."

"Our daughter got involved in the High School theatre department her sophomore year. Totally new to this environment, we had tons of questions. We would ask our kid, the newbie, and she wouldn't know the answer. We would email the director and get a short response that usually wouldn't answer our questions. Finally, after attending a couple of meetings and hearing "ask Larry" a million times, we figured out that Larry was the man in charge. For the next two years we directed our questions to him, and he knew the answers because he was running it, setting it up, or putting it together. Larry was in charge of everything from ticket sales to programs, from banquets to fundraising, and from social media to marketing. While organizing every detail in a timely manner, Larry also dealt with the many emails and texts from the students and parents, as well as running our Booster Club. His commitment
to the department could never be doubted, but only admired and appreciated."
